Undo / Redo

Zones tient un journal des opérations sur les fichiers :

Annuler le dernier rangement : Ctrl + Alt + Z
Redo: Ctrl + Alt + Y

(Also accessible from the notification icon.) The shortcut deliberately different from Ctrl + Z avoids any conflict with the active application under the zones. The log describes each operation (“Auto storage: N files”, “Drag and drop: N files”, “Closing zone”, “Renaming a file”, “Merging zones”). Les suppressions passent par la Corbeille de Windows (« Fichiers dans la Corbeille »).

Snapshots

In the Snapshots menu: Save current state... captures the layout of your zones. You can then Restore a snapshot (a “Before Restore” snapshot is created for security). Useful before a major reorganization.

Workspaces (pages)

Organize your areas across multiple pages, like separate workspaces: New page, Rename page, Delete page. Switch from one to the other depending on your activity.

“Send to a zone” (Windows menu)

Zones adds Send to zone to Windows right-click (and Configure Zones). From Explorer or Desktop, right click on a file → Send to zone → choose the destination zone.

Search for a file

Ctrl + Shift + Space opens the file search in your areas (also in the menu: “Search for a file…”).

Quick view

Select a file and press Space (while hovering over the area): a Quick View shows the file with its type, size and modification date. Space or Esc closes the preview.

Updates

Paramètres → Mise à jour → Rechercher les mises à jour. Zones says "You have the latest version" or "Update available" (Download opens the version page). An update may be “strongly recommended”. Elle s’ouvre dans le navigateur — fermez Zones avant d’installer. See the version log.

Report a bug, with a form (categories: Bug, Question, Suggestion, Other) — sent directly to the studio.
Copy my system information (to attach to a request).
Open the Zones folder (access to the actual folders of your zones).
