Appearance & Settings
Open the Settings… window from the dock, notification icon, or right-click menu. It is organized into sections (left column): Appearance, Snapping & behavior, Editing, Pages, Sort rules, Language, Subscriptions, License, Update, Support, Referral, PC Info, Guide, About.
Appearance
- Global appearance — general rendering settings.
- Zone color: the default background color for zones.
- Zone opacity: transparency on the Desktop.
- Accent color: the tint of highlighted elements (large palette provided).
- Theme: System, Dark or Light.
- Dock (Beta): enable/disable the launch bar (see The dock).
Snapping & behavior
- Snapping: zones align to a Grid (or None to disable).
- Freeze layout: locks the arrangement.
- Hide desktop on double-click: double-clicking the Desktop toggles zones visibility.
- Start with Windows: launches Zones at login.
Editing (per-zone settings)
The Editing section allows you to tweak a specific zone, such as its Zone color. If no zone exists, "No zone" is displayed.
Language
Zones is available in 19 languages. Choose the interface language in the Language section (instant change).
PC Info
The PC Info section summarizes your hardware (identity, system, GPU, memory, disk, etc.) — handy to attach to a support request.
